Spotted THIS peculiar road side public phone on the A217 between Mitcham and Sutton today. No box and seems bizarrely low for a normal height person to use. It was a similar height to my driving position as I was waiting at the lights.

Anybody have any info?

Setting them low was a deliberate policy to make them more usable by people in wheelchairs IRC.
