M6 roadworks items

Post by DaveGoddard »

While losing the will to live driving through the new set of 50mph average speed cameras between J2 and J4 of the M6 near Coventry yesterday (I've spent the last several years having my soul destroyed by the ones all over the nearby M1) I noticed within the roadworks some strange-looking structures, about 8 feet tall, in yellow, and with a pyramid-like shape on top of them.

Anyone know what these are for?

I saw these on the M6 by Corley a couple of weeks ago and thought they could only really be some kind of over-engineered noticeboards. Looks like I was right ! Apologies for the blurry picture.
