Just been over the Queensferry Crossing. I am frankly disgusted at the traffic management for the roadworks.
Firstly, all the matrix signs in the run up to the bright in both directions say “Motorway closed ahead”. It isn’t closed, it’s just the main carriageways are closed and you are being asked to use the hard shoulder.
Secondly, the final gantry southbound prior to joining the bridge has 20 roundells lit on it’s display, with temporary signs either side of the gantry showing “40” roundells.
How the hell is anybody supposed to obey those signs?
