i cannot seem to place the age of this lamp ?

The lamp is a Thorn Gamma 6, probably dating from the 80s. The column it’s on looks like a Revo, date less certain; perhaps from the 50s or so?

Ilkley actually has quite a few elderly survivors, especially columns. Given that the rest of Bradford MBC's street lighting has been heavily modernised I'm not sure why the town has escaped and or how longer it will!
