What are these poles for??

On the A49 at dinmore hill near the queenswood abouretum, there are these two poles, they are near a bus stop and I don't know what they are/were for and would like to know, if anyone could help that would be great! there here: https://www.google.com/maps/@52.1598455 ... Fzl1mg!2e0

They appear to be supporting a sapling.

I've walked right up next to them and they are metal and do not hold up any type of tree

It's really difficult to see from Google StreetView. They appear to be behind the fence line. Are you able to take a photo yourself?

Unfortunately not, when I saw them they were forward of the fence line

The earlier GSV photo shows that they're very blue - maybe some water main markers?
