So the sign in the KYTS book is correct now then. Design is a bit clearer now.

Yes, it's definitely a serious improvement. I don't like the pupil in the eye, and I think it could have been better done by exaggerating the spines further.

This one appears to be of a different design, it would appear the googly eye has been added post-installation.

That's the original design, and no it hasn't been altered - that's the actual eye! That's also the only example I know of.

While the new design may clearer at speed or a distance, the original looks more hedgehog like to me.
