Least signed Motorway Junction
So one of the motorway junctions that I use most of all is J10a on the M23, which was opened in the 1990s, however till this day there is no signage to this junction (or the M23) at all, none. It is situated on the B2036 and the only signs for the junction are on the junction itself. Are there any junction that you are aware of that doesn't have any signage to it?
Talking about going onto the Motorway, not the exit from the motorway.

Do you not count this sign: https://goo.gl/maps/VPTuzuXtnxuUXmYu9 ?jervi wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2019 23:28 So one of the motorway junctions that I use most of all is J10a on the M23, which was opened in the 1990s, however till this day there is no signage to this junction (or the M23) at all, none. What about the bus-only junction on the M32?

Re: Least signed Motorway Junction
That sign is for the roundabout which is part of the junction, so is really for the junction itself.Stevie D wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 21:31 Do you not count this sign: https://goo.gl/maps/VPTuzuXtnxuUXmYu9 ?
Re: Least signed Motorway Junction
Junction T2 on the M6 Toll only has one exit slip road to the A446/A4097 junction at the Belfry golf course. I'm not aware of any signs pointing to it.
Re: Least signed Motorway Junction
I don't think there are any signs for the un-numbered exit from the A74(M) to the B7076 at Gretna Services. Lots on the motorway for the services, none for the B7076. No signs at all on the B7076 for either the services or the motorway.
Make poetry history.

Re: Least signed Motorway Junction
If you mean junctions that lack 'far in advance' signs (like this one for M62 j25), I don't think M606 j2 has any.jervi wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 11:07That sign is for the roundabout which is part of the junction, so is really for the junction itself.Stevie D wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 21:31 Do you not count this sign: https://goo.gl/maps/VPTuzuXtnxuUXmYu9 ?

Re: Least signed Motorway Junction
Yeah signs like that, that direct people to the Motorway from the A/B roads that go to the junction from away.ellandback wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 18:04 If you mean junctions that lack 'far in advance' signs (like this one for M62 j25), I don't think M606 j2 has any.
And yeah looks like J2 of the M606 has no signs, mostly due to the the two other roads that lead to it seem to have better connects to the M606 at other junctions.
Re: Least signed Motorway Junction
I reckon some of the junctions on the A74(M) which cater for B-roads only would be candidates for this.
Re: Least signed Motorway Junction
Actually, the winner would probably the be the side road onto the A57(M) here (https://goo.gl/maps/zVRTitU6iJypE2We8) which joins the motorway about 20 yards before the end of motorway sign.

There's not even a start of motorway sign there though!nowster wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 11:08 Actually, the winner would probably the be the side road onto the A57(M) here (https://goo.gl/maps/zVRTitU6iJypE2We8) which joins the motorway about 20 yards before the end of motorway sign.
Re: Least signed Motorway Junction
Agreed. Which makes it least signed.A Challenge wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 09:20There's not even a start of motorway sign there though!nowster wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 11:08 Actually, the winner would probably the be the side road onto the A57(M) here (https://goo.gl/maps/zVRTitU6iJypE2We8) which joins the motorway about 20 yards before the end of motorway sign.

Likewise Mina Road in Bristol... unless you argue that's only part of the junction?

Re: Least signed Motorway Junction
Hi!
Coming out of Burnley Town Centre towards the M65 at junction 11 from the (non–signed) B6434 there hasn't been an advance direction sign for the junction for years – L.C.C. did once erect a small white one that only had a roundabout map–symbol, a very small blue Motorway Panel with "Colne, Skipton M65" and an even smaller set of chopsticks, but that disappeared following a clout from a boy–racer during the mid '90s and never got a replacement erected!
