For those who may be interested there is a feature and interview with Margaret Calvert about her work with Jock Kinneir and their redesigning of the UK's signs as part of Secrets of the Museum on BBC2 right now. Can be picked up later on i-player of course.

A thoroughly deserved addition to the V & A Museum!

I saw it. Apparently she has collaborated with Banksy. She also is not impressed by some of the newer sign pictograms.

Very interesting! A tiny bit disappointed that the A47 non-primary flag sign on display appeared to use Transport (Medium) text though.

Bet Margaret noticed.

The one she singled out in particular was "horse riders". She wasn't impressed by the silhouette of the horse.
There was also a subtle roadworks sign in the exhibition with the figure wearing a skirt.
