Phillips MA60/80 in 1970s

Post by scott125 »

Was watching a police thing on Youtube that dates from 1979. Cant quite tell from the grainy footage, were MA50S.60S AND 80s installed on the motoway at this time.

At the end i could see a different SOX lantern, but looked like a MA80 but was not quite.

The Philips MA SOX series of lanterns came in (shortest to longest) MA90 (90 watts), MA50 (135 watts) and MA60 (180 watts).

I think the lantern at the end of the video may be a Thorn Alpha 6.
