Went past the junction today. New signage has been erected. Similar to what I suggested.

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@50.98770 ... 384!8i8192 - heading Eastbound, although located before the A23 (makes sense), but here it would of been easier to just say follow signs for "Burgess Hill"

Also shouldn't the signs say "Width Limit on Stairbridge Lane" rather than "Width Limit at Stairbridge Lane" as the latter suggests that the 2m restriction applies on the A272 AT Stairbridge Lane rather than ON Stairbridge Lane?
