Re: New project for 2018 - OS One Inch 7th Series map coverage

I've just returned home from a couple of weeks in Yorkshire. I've replaced the battery on my laptop so it now boots up again, and I've had a chance to check the revision number of Sheet 122 - Melton Mowbray that I picked up in a second hand bookshop in Wetherby for 25p. It turns out it is the A revision which as far as I can see is one we do not have.

Having had a go with the tutorial before I went away, I'm going to have a crack at scanning this one. I'm also going to try and redo the Snowdon sheet (107B) - I've never been happy with the stitched map I created before as the gridlines are not straight. Hopefully c2R's tutorial will help me get it right this time.

Fantastic - yes, I agree that we don't seem to have 7th-122-A

Let us know if you need any help!
Cheers

Three more sheets have been uploaded today. They are:

1954
Sheet 179 (Bournemouth) New Popular Revision E

1965
Sheet 170 (London SW) Revision B

1972
Sheet 60 (Glasgow) Revision B/*/*

Whilst I love all three maps as they all have some great things to see on there, I particularly like the state of the M8 on the Glasgow sheet...

Did it really open with the northwest section of the inner ring incomplete?
How would you like your grade separations, Sir?
Big and complex.

Yes, it really did open in four bits between 1970 and 1972.
