Hi just to add to the B811 article, it seems that it would have followed from St George's Cross (B810 now A82), up what is now Maryhill Road to Queen's Cross to meet the A81. This part of Maryhill Road was part of New City Road as well.
Also is there any evidence that the A80 originally ran down High Street to the A8 & A74 at Glasgow Cross? It seems strange that it would have ended on the A803 (ie a 3-figure number) at the end of Alexandra Parade?

Re: B811 and A80 termini
That could be the case. I doubt the B810 would not have covered the entire length of the straight route along New City Road and Great Western Road. In the original road lists you would quite often have a route with one number and a route branching off of that route with a number one higher than it. In this scenario, the B811 would branch off of the B810 and along Maryhill Road. At least this would make more sense than having the B811 TOTSO at St George's Cross.

Re: B811 and A80 termini
It's not that easy to tell from the old 1923 MoT map on SABRE Maps as many of the numbers in eastern Glasgow are obscured by the tile boundary. I would guess that the A80 would have followed High Street down to Glasgow Cross to meet the A8 which at the time took Gallowgate, the current A89, out of the city. It would have been absurd for the main numbered route from Glasgow to Stirling not to be connected to the core road network in Glasgow.

Re: B811 and A80 termini
So it seems that the B810 would have started at the A81 at Cowcaddens, going up New City Rd to St George's Cross, and continued up Gt Western Rd. The B811 would have branched from the B810 at St George's Cross, going up the top half of New City Rd (now Maryhill Rd) towards Queen's Cross to return to the A81.
Re: B811 and A80 termini
Just bumping the thread, updated the B811 wiki article. Also wondering if anyone has any evidence of the A80 originally terminating on the A8 at Glasgow Cross?
