I hadn't clocked that. That's far, far worse!
Is there a road improvement project going on near you? Help us to document it on the SABRE Wiki - help is available in the Digest forum.
Have you browsed SABRE Maps recently? Get involved! - see our guide to scanning and stitching maps

But 'Development = Excellent for the economy' according to HM Treasury. (Personally I think it has more to do with developers donations to the ruling political party than any sane long term economic planning)Bryn666 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 10:21NH still thinking their job is to bend over and be a toast rack for developers I see.c2R wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 19:35 Instead of that, though, how about detrunking one of the other sliproads and providing a LILO on it to facilitate development? what could possibly be bad about that:

Therefore all Government bodies have been instructed they MUST facilitate it at all times no mater how much it may conflict with other options - particularly if the developers can be made to contribute to any alterations.
If NH tried to resist I'm sure the existing senior management would rapidly find 'new and exciting career opportunities' and more 'compliant' personal parachuted in.
What we need is a change of Government - and not one who feels the need to suck up to developers / city interest above all else.

We're on the same page on this one, the strategic road network is being destroyed at every opportunity to ensure developers make a fast buck. The A1077(M) is a case in point - there was absolutely no need to design two roundabouts onto the M181 (the second is still to be built) other than to save money for developer chums.Phil wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 13:21But 'Development = Excellent for the economy' according to HM Treasury.
