That's a lovely one in Pembroke, and new to the internet. There is a set of way outs in Harlow but not with extra writing. I've seen directions with road names on before (I expect I have one or two) but not for a major route like that. I was so pleased to see another direction sign within reach of London, I thought they may all have been found but you can never tell if hidden in such corners, a bank holiday was perfect as there was hardly any traffic.

On further inspection the yellow centre appears to be as made, there's no trace of a white coating peeling off. I haven't seen a solid yellow sign before.

I'm pleased it's still there! :D

Back in the mid 80s (when I was a youngster) it was still there, at the bottom of its pole. I can't remember it ever having had a white background and I'm guessing it was "only" 25 or so years old at that point.

Found a pair of these in Barlow, Derbys. The matching one opposite was hidden in the trees.

Those are becoming increasingly rare now. I really want to find one in Scotland I can get a photo of.

I'll let you know if I spot any on Flickr. London still has a bunch of them if you know where to look.

They aren't far from me so I could certainly check. Not holding out much hope since most limits have been dropped to 20 around here.

I’m on Jersey this week and I spotted a PW ‘No Waiting’ sign on a side road just off the A12 at Beaumont. I couldn’t stop to get a photo but it’s on GSV:

Although the GSV image is 11 years old the sign is still there but it’s now a little more overgrown by the hedge.

Cracker. Also a nice 'double bend' sign at the back of the GSV image too, albeit not pre worboys.

Edit: there is also a 'no waiting' sign which is simiarly obsolete looking the other way on GSV. However that and the double bend sign look quite new. Does Jersey have it's own sign regs?

I don’t know if Jersey has its own sign regs but most seem to be the same as on the U.K. mainland, it’s just direction signs which seem to be different (smaller with a font which is somewhat different to Transport). That ‘No Waiting’ sign is the only PW one I’ve seen in 3 days of driving on the island although there are some PW-style council street name signs dotted around (often bilingual English/French).

I drove through and thankfully, they're still here! Standing next to them right now. I'll post photos later.

Another find in North East Derbyshire, near Grassmoor. It's the only one the others are all modern, including the one on the other side.

Here's a rarity from Upholland near Wigan; could this be the last surviving public lavatories sign?

While I'm down in the south-west, here are a few more. This one was posted some time ago, but has been restored. it's at Misterton near Crewkerne.
