The traffic management was removed at 1130 today, Friday 1 July, just in time for a wet weekend...

Looks like they plan to swap out the hydraulics for electric motors.
Going to cost £1.7m which includes £0.5m which was going to be spent on renewing the existing hydraulic and PLC systems.
