The A736 (former B770) Crookston Road
The B770 was a short north-south B-road in what was the countryside between Paisley and Glasgow.
It started on the A8 to the east of Renfrew (albeit over the county boundary in Lanarkshire) and headed south into Crookston, where there was a short multiplex west along the A737. The road then continued south for roughly the same distance again to end on the A736 at Nitshill.
The road survived into the 1960s. However, with the expansion of Glasgow and the construction of the M8 the road was upgraded to Class I status, becoming the A754. Later still, it was renumbered A736, as that road was rerouted. It remains this number.
