2003 St Albans Awayday
St Albans - 13 - Oh for pity's sake! - 'We're busting here and we can't find one!'

St Albans 18 - A very old map of the UK - This caused much discussion on just how old it actually was. Unless I'm wrong here, I think the general consensus was that it was pre-World War I.

St Albans - 05 - Tony M25 - [now known as Brenley Corner]
Hitching a ride out of this place?
Posted by Serena on 10/12/2003St Albans - 08 - The meeting of the zones - Where Sabristis stood on all corners and were in several road zones at once!

St Albans 1 - Chris H, followed by Chris M and Ritchie, jumping directly from the 6-zone to the 4-zone at the Peahen crossroads in St Albans
St Albans 2 - Taken from the SE corner of the Peahen crossroads (in the 5-zone). To the left of the picture, Chris H, Steven and Simon M are standing in the 4-zone. In the middle (directly beneath the yellow sign), Simon J (I think) and Clangy are in the 5-zone, and to the right (underneath the red traffic light) Guy and Chris M are standing in the 6-zone. I wonder whom the couple on the nearest corner were pointing at...
St Albans 3 - Simon J, TonyM25, Steven, Chris H and Clangy hanging around on the street corner, generally obstructing any poor St Albanians (?) who were trying to get past.
St Albans - 02 - It should be the SABRE logo! - Fingers pointing at map (this one was actually staged!)

St Albans - 04 - Chris Marshall introduces himself! - He was making some wild gestures to illustrate something he was saying at the time!

St Albans - 11 - Hmm... why don't they put such things on these maps? - Look for service areas, silly!

St Albans - 14 - Sketching a complicated junction in Ireland! - I seem to remember a field with cows in it being mentioned here as well!

St Albans - 16 - Didn't quite hide behind that A-Z in time! - You should have lifted it up higher, you know!

St Albans - 10 - Chris M... searching for a loo? - Well, the pub ones always have long queues!

St Albans - 09 - The horrendously steep hill we climbed to get there! - (pant, pant, pant!)

St Albans - 15 - The 'Book Group' in deep discussion about... the book! - (Guy, Simon & Graham) How apt it looks like they are in a library!
