2010 M96 Mock Motorway Visit

The M96 Mock Motorway Visit was a visit to the M96 training motorway on the Fire Service College in Moreton-In-Marsh in Gloucestershire. The Fire Service College is not open to the general public; however, SABRE was fortunate enough to be allowed a private tour with permission to take photographs of the motorway.

The tour involved a walk up and down the M96, including signs, marker posts, emergency telephones and an overhead gantry. We also had a brief look at some of the other on-site facilities including the railway, concrete ship, warehouse, and piles of wrecked cars and Transit vans!

After the tour we decamped back to the centre of Moreton-In-Marsh and found somewhere with a large table to put maps down on.
