|Route outline (key)|
The A1163 was a short road through the centre of Hull.
The road started on the A1164 Ferensway opposite Paragon railway station. It headed east along Jameson Street, meeting the A1079 Prospect Street, before continuing along George Street. It crossed the North Bridge over the River Hull before running along Witham and ending on the A165 Holderness Road.
This road appears to have been renumbered from the B1235 in the mid 1970s and was then renumbered again in the 1980s when the A165 Freetown Way was built. The eastern half of the road is now the mainline of the A165 whilst the remainder is unclassified and largely pedestrianised.
