|Route outline (key)|
The A14 forms the northern side of St Helier's Ring Road.
Beginning at a roundabout with the A9, the A14 heads east along 'Rouge Bouillon', which is an urban road with building close to the road, and a high amount of traffic lights for crossroads or pedestrian crossings. Before long, there is a square one-way system (forming, in effect, a 2-lane roundabout) at the A8 junction, although only the northern side appears to be part of the A14. Very shortly afterwards, at Janvrin Road, the road becomes one way eastbound-only for the remaining distance to the A7, with the westbound access from the A7 coming via the B82 and the unclassified Janvrin Road.
