Junction 14 of the A14 is a minor access to Titchfield. It is the westernmost at-grade junction on the road.
In 1999 proposals were made to grade separate this and the other at-grade junctions to the east. This was part of a safety rather than capacity improvement so the bridge would have been S1 due to the low turning movements at this junction. There were options of building the bridge to the east or west of the junction with the east being preferred. In the end the scheme was abandoned and the gap in the central reservation still exists.
