This article is about the current A333, formerly A3, in Hindhead, Surrey.
For the former A333, in Hampshire, linking Winchester to the A3 at Cosham, see A333 (Winchester - Cosham).

The A333 is the former section of the A3 in Hindhead from Hazel Grove Interchange to the Hindhead Crossroads that was bypassed with the Hindhead Tunnel scheme in July 2011.
The road starts at a dumbbell GSJ to the south of Hindhead and runs northeast into the town. It meets the B3002 towards Bordon at a roundabout before terminating at the former Hindhead Crossroads, once a significant bottleneck when this was the A3. The junction is now a double mini-roundabout, with the A287 crossing from left to right. The former A3 straight ahead is now unclassified and leads to the National Trust car park and no further, since the road past the Devil's Punchbowl has been returned to nature. Some maps claim this is also part of the A333.
