The A4132 had previously only been identified from DFT lists, however, it is now known to have been the link between the A472 and A469 at Ystrad Mynach. Different maps show slightly different routes at the eastern end, but it certainly followed Lewis Street east from the A472. It then either used Bedwlwyn Street or turned south on Penalltau Road to meet the A469. The new eastern bypass of Ystrad Mynach presumably led to the road being declassified.
