The A46 Newark to Lincoln improvements were major roadworks to improve the A46 to dual carriageway between the Winthorpe Roundabout at Newark-on-Trent, and the Hykeham Roundabout at Lincoln, in order to improve the safety and journey times along the stretch, as well as to improve environmental conditions in the village of Brough.
The scheme was mainly online, however a new bypass was constructed around the village of Brough, as well as the Halfway House Roundabout and a couple of simple grade-separated junctions.
