For the original route in Salford, see A5064 (Salford).
The A5064 in Shrewsbury has been a road of many numbers. Originally it was the A5 before this was diverted via the bypass; more recently it was a section of the A5112.
The road starts at a roundabout at the junction with the present A5 southern bypass and the B4380 which follows the original bypass to the west and the old road to the east (and so was itself once the A5). The A5064 heads northwestwards along London Road skirting the edge of the urban area. It ends after over a mile at the Column Roundabout by the Shire Hall on the A458.
