The A5151 is a largely rural A-road in north Flintshire. At one time the B5332, the road gained its current number in the 1960s.
The road starts at A55 J31, where it also meets the B5122 and A5026. The A5151 heads north, crossing Offa's Dyke before reaching a roundabout at Pen-ffordd-llan. Here a spur of the A5026 heads to the right whilst we turn left.
Offa's Dyke Path crossing the A5151
The road now follows the course of Offa's Dyke for a few miles, although that is barely obvious, before passing through the village of Trelawnyd. Continuing west we soon cross the Offa's Dyke Path and then start to descend. We cross a small stream and enter Dyserth. We run along the High Street and descend to traffic lights where we meet the B5119.
The road continues to descend as it heads west back into open country. We skirt the grounds of Bodrhyddan Hall before bearing right past a golf course to Rhuddlan. The road runs along the eastern edge of town to end at a roundabout on the A547.
