Apex Corner is a Grade Separated Junction on the A316 route into London.
It was originally a crossroads between Uxbridge Road and Hampton Road. The Hope & Anchor Inn stood in the corner, in an area known as New Hanworth.
By the 1950s the A316 north of here had moved onto the new Great Chertsey Road. This met the upgraded Hampton Road West, and the other roads, at a large roundabout. Twickenham Road to the south was later upgraded to meet the M3, and a flyover was provided.
The junction is named after Apex House, a tower on the north corner.
