There is only one roundabout on the Huntly Bypass, and that lies next to the newer Asda Store on the south side of town. As such it is sometimes known as the Asda Roundabout or the Huntly Roundabout, or to locals, just The Roundabout.
The old line of the A96 makes do with fork junctions at either end, but where the A97 meets the bypass, a roundabout is provided. The roundabout is a simple 4 arm junction, with the A96 and A97 crossing at right angles. The A97 remains on its original line, only interrupted by the island in the centre of the roundabout, whilst the bypass runs due east from the roundabout to pick up the old A96 route across the river and railway. To the west, it curves around to the north west to find the old route.
