The B1051 is a rural B-road in west Essex.
It starts on the B1383 (formerly A11) in Stansted Mountfitchet and heads roughly eastwards out of town. It crosses the M11 without a junction and continues east to Broxted, which it bypasses although originally it did not. A few miles further on the B1051 enters Thaxted where it meets the B184 (former A130).
The B1051 multiplexes north with the B184 north to the edge of Thaxted before regaining its number and heading northeast. It passes a few scattered houses and a mast before crossing the River Pant and ending on the B1053 in Great Sampford very soon afterwards.
