The B1091 is a short B-road to the south of the Peterborough urban area.
It starts on the A15 in Yaxley and heads east through the village and then through the next village, Farcet. Shortly afterwards, the route crosses a bridge over the A605 before passing Stanground College and ending at the next roundabout. This is part of a GSJ on the A1139; the A605 and B1092 also reach this roundabout.
Interestingly, the route of the B1091 has not altered since 1922 despite all the changes that have taken place in Peterborough since then.
