The B1099 is a short road around March in the Fens.
It starts on the A141 March bypass and heads east into town where there is a short multiplex south along the B1101. The whole of this section was the pre-bypass A141.
The B1099 reappears at its original western end, from where it heads east out of town along St Peter's Road. It crosses the Peterborough to Ely railway line at a level crossing and then zigzags quite sharply up to Bedlam Corner Farm. It reaches and crosses the Sixteen Foot River before ending on the B1098 which is following the watercourse.
