The B1167 is a B-road across the Fens.
It currently starts at the west end of the A47 Thorney bypass before heading east through the village. This section was the pre-bypass A47 and so the original route of the B1167 does not begin until the A47 is met again at the other end of the bypass well over a mile to the east of Thorney.
The A47 is crossed at a roundabout and then the B167 heads dead straight northwards as far as the New South Eau before crossing it and turning sharply right to follow the north bank. About a mile later the road turns sharply left and ends soon afterwards on the B1166.
