The B142 was a short road, both in length and existence, in south County Fermanagh. It was originally unclassified but gained its number in the late 1920s. However, it had been declassified again by 1946.
The road started on the B108 to the southeast of Kinawley and headed northeast; although this is now unclassified it is still signposted to Enniskillen. The route was fairly straight, with the Cladagh River meandering off to the left. After going over a small hill the road descended to reach the B37 (present A509; Enniskillen is to the left.
