The B146 is a short link road in Chingford in east London. The road was originally unclassified and seems to have gained its number after World War II.
The road starts at a roundabout on the A1009 and heads north up Friday Hill. The road initially has service roads on both sides with access from one side to the other via an overbridge, making the road seem more important than it is. We quickly lose the eastern service road, after which a side street pretends to be one for a while.
The road then crosses Simmons Lane at a point where the two service roads split and then converge again in a layout that looks on a map remarkably like a diamond GSJ (although it's not grade-separated). We then lose the pretend service road on the right and we descend, losing the western service road just before the end of the road at a mini-roundabout on the A110.
