The B176 is a short road in east County Down. It was originally unclassified but gained its number in the late 1920s.
The road starts on the A2 at a mini-roundabout on the shore of Killough Bay. It heads northwest along Downpatrick Road and soon reaches open fields. We continue along a fairly straight road interspersed with a couple of bends. As we approach Downpatrick the road becomes more winding, although the terrain seems little different.
We enter Downpatrick on Killough Road and pass a row of shops before zigzagging to the left to avoid the steep Racecourse Hill. The road descends towards the town centre but ends before getting there. The B1 comes in from the right and TOTSOs to take on the road ahead.
