The B202 runs along County Londonderry's Magilligan peninsula. The road was originally unclassified but had gained its number by 1946.
The road starts on the A2 and heads north. The hills of Inishowen can be seen ahead; it is not obvious from here there is a body of water in the way. We follow the completely flat Point Road and pass a turf farm before the road bears sharply left. Up to now the road has been rural but things now change as we pass a military firing range and then a prison.
Lough Foyle then becomes visible ahead and we bear right to follow the shoreline, whilst still skirting the firing range so there isn't much space for the road. The B202 ends at the entrance to the car ferry to Greencastle. The unclassified road ahead runs through the pub car park then peters out.
