The B2037 heads east from Gatwick Airport, although the airport itself cannot be accessed from it without a detour. Both ends are in Sussex although the majority of the route is in Surrey.
The route starts to the west of Shipley Bridge at a roundabout on the B2036. It goes east and passes over the M23 between junctions 9 and 10 to enter Surrey.
A couple of miles of open countryside later, the B2038 is crossed at a roundabout. The B2037 crosses back into Sussex and passes to the south of the private estate of Domewood, before terminating at a 'give way' sign on the A264.
