The second incarnation of the B2044 was a short link road in Walmer, Kent. It was originally unclassified but was an early example of a recycled number, becoming the B2044 in the mid-1920s. However, today the road is unclassified.
The road started on the A258 Dover Road near the town centre and headed southeastwards along Granville Road towards the coast. It ended less than half a mile later in the dunes on the B2057 Kingsdown road just north of the castle.
