The now-unclassified former B2055 Strand Street

The B2055 was a short link road in the Kent town of Sandwich.

It started on the A257, where that road turned from Strand Street into Harnet Street. The B2055 was the eastward continuation of Strand Street until it met the A256 High Street a short distance later.

With the completion of the Sandwich bypass all roads in the town have been declassified and the B2055 is no exception. However, the road number disappeared some time before this; the road is given Class I status on the OS Seventh Series map. The road is narrow and so is now one-way eastbound.
