The B2056 is a short collection of roads on the south-west side of the Kentish town of Deal which cuts a corner off the A258's route through the town centre. It is signed as such, although the number B2056 is not displayed on signs. As well as being rather narrow in places, the route is subject to a 3.9 m height restriction, making it unsuitable for large vehicles.
Starting from a mini-roundabout on London Road, at the point where the A258 from Sandwich TOTSOs left, the B2056 continues southeastward along Manor Road. We reach a T-junction with Mill Hill and turn left to follow that road for 220 m before TOTSOing right into Hamilton Road, which takes us to a low bridge beneath the Kent Coast railway line. Beyond the bridge the route continues southeastward, as Cornwall Road, for a further 450 m before ending on the A258 Dover Road.
An OpenStreetMap trace for this route awaits uploading to the SABRE Wiki.
