The B2147 is a short rural B-road on the Hampshire/Sussex border.
It starts on the B2148 in Emsworth, just to the north of its bridge under the A27. It heads northeast into New Brighton before turning right at a roundabout and crossing the River Ems (which is the county boundary at this point) into Westbourne.
The road then enters the South Downs National Park before crossing an unclassified road (which has priority) at a staggered crossroads. It goes through Racton (a tiny settlement which consists of a church, a couple of houses and not much else) before ending on the B2146 at a triangular junction at which north-to-eastbound traffic on the B2146 TOTSOs right.
