|This article is about the current B2158 in Farnborough, Kent.
For the original B2158 near Faversham in the same county, see B2158 (Faversham)
Today's B2158 was created on 13 April 1927 with the opening on that day of the Farnborough bypass in the then-Bromley Rural District of Kent. It follows the former route of the A21 through Farnborough village, diverging from the bypass at The Green, at the eastern end of Farnborough Common. A mile later the bypass is met again, and crossed via a roundabout junction, before the B2158 descends past Metrobus's Orpington Depot to end on the A223 at the northern end of the High Street, Green Street Green.
