The B2159 runs through the Hastings suburb of Hollington. This was originally the mainline of the A21 then became the A2100 when that road was rerouted away from Battle in the 1950s.
The road starts at a roundabout on the A2100 on the northern edge of the urban area and heads vaguely southwards along the straight, residential Battle Road. We soon go under the B2092 (to be renumbered A2690) and continue to descend through Hollington. Presently we reach Silverhill, where immediately after passing Asda the road ends at traffic lights as the A21 rejoins its original route.
