The B2160 is a relatively short B-road in west Kent. The road was originally unclassified but gained its number in the mid-1920s.
The road starts at a roundabout at Kipping's Cross on the A21, at the point where that road switches from dual- to single-carriageway. We head northeastwards, passing a few buildings before reaching the village of Matfield. We run along the main street and cross the village green.
After reentering open country we zigzag down Gedge's Hill and then meet the B2017 at traffic lights on the southern edge of the town of Paddock Wood. We follow Maidstone Road through town and go over the South Eastern Main Line just west of the station. Presently we reach fields once again and then end at a roundabout on the A228.
