This article is about the original B2192 in Portslade.

The B2192 was allocated to a road along the Portslade/Hove boundary. Originally unclassified, the number came to the area in the mid-1930s.
The road started on the A27 Shoreham Road and headed south for less than a quarter of a mile. This road still runs along the boundary of Hove and Portslade, with the Hove side being Station Road and the Portslade side Carlton Terrace. The B2192 ended when the then-A293 came in from the right along Victoria Road and continued ahead over the railway line.
After the A293 was rerouted further west, its old route was downgraded to the B2194 and this road became a spur of it.
