The B2201 is a short B-road heading south from Chichester. Originally unclassified, the road gained its number in the mid-1930s.
The road starts at a mini-roundabout on the A286 in Stockbridge, essentially a suburb of Chichester but outside the A27 bypass. It heads south through a modern estate and soon reaches open country. We zigzag through the tiny village of Donnington and then cross the Chichester Canal which is no longer navigable here as the bridge has been removed and the canal culverted.
Continuing south across the fields we soon bend sharply left then right to reach the settlement of Sidlesham Common. It's not long before road's end at a triangular junction on the B2145.
