Route outline (key) | ||||

The B2208 follows part of the pre-bypass route of the A22 through the Surrey town of Caterham, getting its number following construction of the bypass in the mid-1930s.
The road starts at a roundabout on the A22 to the south of Whyteleafe and heads south into town along Croydon Road, with the railway line behind the buildings on the right.
Although the road is largely residential we do pass a number of shops at the beginning of the road and then again as we approach the town centre. The road ends at a roundabout on the B2030, which now takes the ex-A22 to the left.
