The B2217 is a short suburban route in Banstead, Surrey. The road was originally numbered B280 but gained the B2217 number in the late 1930s when that road (since renumbered A2022) was moved onto the present bypass.
Starting at a mini-roundabout on the A2022 immediately east of that road's junction with the A217 the B2217 heads more-or-less southwards along Bolters Lane into the centre of town where it meets the B2219 and turns left.
The road now continues east by north-east along the town's main shopping thoroughfare, then turns north at a further roundabout at the eastern end of the High Street, to finish at yet another roundabout back on the A2022.
