The B2218 is a short B-road across the Banstead Downs in Surrey. The road was originally unclassified but gained its number in the late 1930s.
Diverging from the B2230 Brighton Road by the entrance to Sutton Hospital in Belmont at the southern edge of the Greater London area, the B2218 runs south along Cotswold Road and Sutton Lane and crosses Banstead Downs (Her Majesty's Downview and High Down Prisons on the left). It reaches the northern outskirts of Banstead itself and terminates at a roundabout junction with the A2022 Winkworth Road and the B2217, which continues along Sutton Road into the town centre.
