The B2221 is a short B-road in east Surrey. The road was originally unclassified but got its number in the 1940s.
The road starts by Epsom Downs Racecourse on the B290. In fact the road has two western ends as it follows the whole of Tattenham Crescent which is a loop off the B290 Tattenham Corner Road; this presumably allows traffic to remain on a Class II road when the B290 is closed when needed on race days.
The longer northerly route gives way to the shorter southerly route, which has passed Tattenham Corner station, and the combined B2221 continues eastwards along a residential road called Great Tattenhams. It's not long before we cross the A240 at traffic lights, after which we go round a right-hand bend to another set of lights where the road ends on the A217.
